Road Construction Updates Route 31 & Burnet Road Intersection Project The New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) is scheduled to begin work on the Route 31 and Burnet Road intersection on November 9 . The project is expected to take approximately six weeks to complete. Improvements will include the addition of new turn lanes and installation of a traffic signal to improve traffic flow and safety. Micron/Gilbane has distributed notification letters to nearby residents and businesses outlining the upcoming construction and providing contact information for questions or concerns. Route 31 & Caughdenoy Road Paving Paving work at the Route 31 and Caughdenoy Road intersection is scheduled to take place overnight next week. To minimize daytime traffic disruptions, this work is planned for nighttime hours. If weather or other conditions cause a delay, paving is scheduled for November 7 . Please use caution when traveling through these areas and be alert for construction crews, temporary traffic patterns, and possible delays.
