None SUPERINTENDENT’S REPORT Superintendent Christopher Byrne began saying that he hoped everyone enjoyed the long holiday break. Looking at next year's calendar it doesn’t look like it will be that fong. On Friday, Mr. Byme, Nicole Covel & Mr. Bailer attended a play performed by P-Tech students. The students performed a Julius Caesar play which was part of project based learning. Mr. Byme congratulated Maddison Shaffer, who was the Director and students Hunter Ward, Kyle wood and Angelo Larson who all had a part in the performance. It was an excellent opportunity for our students as they did a lot of work with planning, communication, building and the performance itself. Mr. Byme shared that tomorrow some of the administration will be watching Governor Hochel's State of the State address and are certainly hopeful that she will continue her investment in public education.

King & King gave an overview on the Capital Project for Phase IT. Phil & KING & KING PRESENTATION Tina were present. Tina shared that it was a two phase project. Phase I was awarded: JCB High School - Site work; Parking lot, Discuss park street parking, Tennis court lighting, Basketball hoops- Scoreboards; Interior door and hardware replacement. EJD Middle School - Entry door hardware replacement, Boiler replacement, Hot water tank replacement & Flooring abatement; Transportation Center - Fuel island and canopy, site work -3 lane drive; Select door replacement, New generator. Phase 2: ICB High School - Kitchen/Cafeteria Renovations, Classroom Renovations - Ist & 2ndFloor wing, Gymnasium flooring, Wall pads bleachers, Boiler Room Replacement, Exterior Wall Panels, Sports Corridor Canopy, Clocks/PA. EJD Middle School - Special Ed Classroom Renovations, (5) Air Handing Unit Replacement, Coiling Door Replacement at Serving line, New Door at Copy Center Clocks/PA; MAM Elementary - Reconstruct interior corridor walls in original 1956 wing and 1985 wing; Replace cubbies, Corridor finish on new wall, Exterior panel replacement, Boiler Room Replacement Clocks/PA. Technology Director Michael Foley shared that his department has been continuing to modernize its digital infrastructure and academic offerings to ensure students are future-ready. His update highlights significant progress in engineering pathways, the establishment of an ethical Al framework, anda

strategic shift toward paperless, high-precision operations. Academic Excellence: Engineering & Robotics - successfully strengthened the STEM pipeline to foster critical thinking and technical skills: High School is offering a comprehensive, four-year Project Lead the Way (PLTW) Engineering sequence. Middle School: providing early exposure through five district engineering courses designed to bridge the gap between curiosity and

application. Extracurriculars: Competitive and club robotics programs are now accessible ta all students in Grades 7-12. Innovation : Ethical Al Framework - Recognizing the rise of Artificial intelligence (ChatGPT, Google Gemini, ete) PCSD has implemented an ethical framework to guide students and staff. The focus on utilizing these tools responsibly to support educational objectives and ensure Al serves the best interests of the school community. Operational Efficiency: “Goodbye Paper, Hello Precision” - The district is transforming its operations to be “learner; faster and smarter” by eliminating manual processes. Payroll & Timesheets: Direct Depasits is now 100% electronic. We are currently testing WinCap web digital timesheets with small groups, targeting a full district-wide launch for the 2026-2027 school year. Unified Support (incident 1Q): We have successfully launched Incident IQ for IT Help Desk operations. Implementation Is currently underway for HR, with future expansions planned for Facilities and Events to create a single point of service for the entire district. Digital Foundations & Infrastructure: To support high-bandwidth demands such as new engineering labs, the district has completed a major network overhaul: upgraded wireless access points and installed new core switches to maximize performance, Next-Gen storage: Finalizing the acquisitian of enterprise-grade storage that features Al-driven self-monitoring to prevent downtime and provides the scalability needed for the district’s growing date needs. Conclusion: “By optimizing our operations, we can better support employees and student learning. “These technological and operational advancements ensure that PCSD remains a future-proof district, prioritizing both instructional excellence and administrative precision.
