Liverpool Central School District’s school board voted 7–2 on Oct. 5 to create a full-time school nurse position, according to the district’s posted meeting minutes. Matthew Jones and Dawn Curry-Clarry opposed the motion.

Two Liverpool Central School District technology positions have consecutive effective dates under resolutions adopted Sept. 29: a full-time PC Software Support Specialist position is to be abolished Oct. 31, and a full-time LAN (Local Area Network) Technician Specialist position is to be created Nov. 1, 2026.
Town Board
The Clay Town Board voted 6–0 on September 21 to approve an engagement letter from Plumley Engineering for additional engineering and planning services for the Three Rivers Point Park Revitalization Project.

The town’s October 8 notice postpones the October 14 Acquest Development/Amazon site-plan hearing (Case 2026-058). A new hearing date will be announced later.

On a single night in May 2025, the Clay Town Board approved three separate bank and credit-union drive-thru applications along the Route 31 and West Taft Road corridor, days after a councilor predicted the O-2 zoning behind one of them would set a pattern for the corridor. Eighteen months later, a Summit Federal Credit Union application the board had denied outright has been approved at a new address nearby, a fourth institution (Community Bank) has won its own permit, and several of the projects' site plans are still working through repeated Planning Board adjournments.
