Liverpool Central School District’s school board voted 7–2 on Oct. 5 to create a full-time school nurse position, according to the district’s posted meeting minutes. Matthew Jones and Dawn Curry-Clarry opposed the motion. The resolution authorizes a 1.0 full-time-equivalent school nurse position. The resolution creates the position but does not name a person to fill it, specify a school assignment, set a salary or give a start date. The district has posted the Oct. 5 minutes; approval of those minutes has not yet been verified. The next board meeting announced in that record is Oct. 19 at 6 p.m. at the District Office.
