Old Thompson Road, LLC (Feldmeier Equipment) is requesting the Agency consider entering into a straight lease agreement for the project consisting of acquisition of 17 acres of vacant land, construction of a 130,000 square foot building that will house its offices and a streamlined manufacturing in the Town of DeWitt. Old Thompson Road, LLC is seeking exemptions from sales and use tax, mortgage recording tax, potential commencement of a payment in lieu of tax agreement (“PILOT”) and issue its revenue bonds.
Agency Actions Requested:
a. A Resolution of the Board describing the proposed project and the financial assistance the Agency may provide and authorizing a public hearing for the project. Agency benefits requested include a Payment in Lieu of Tax Agreement, exemption from sales and use tax and mortgage recording tax and issuance of its revenue bonds. b. A Resolution of the Board authorizing the execution of the Agent Agreement outlining the responsibilities of the Developer and Agency for the Project. Cintas constructed a commercial/industrial cleaning facility (approximately 53,939 sq. ft.) The facility, employs over 100 employees and has plans to grow workforce by 3-5 employees per year for five years.

Tessy Plastics is in the process of building a 246,000 square foot manufacturing facility at its existing assembly and warehouse operation in the Town of Van Buren.

a. A Resolution of the Board for an amended SEQR for purposes determining that the project will not have a significant effect on the environment and requires no further environmental review.
