LOCAL LAW NO. 4 OF THE YEAR 2011 TO AMEND CHAPTER 230 entitled
*ZONING^ Section 230-16B. HC-1 Highway Commercial (2)(e) and Section 230-16 C.
RC-1 Regional Commercial, (2)(e) of the Code ofthe Town of Clay
IT IS ENACTED by the Town Board of the Town of Clay, County of Onondaga as follows:
SECTION 1. Amending Chapter 230 entitled ^'ZONING", 230-16 B. HC-1 Highway
Commercial (2)(e) and 230-16 C. RC-1 Regional Commercial (2)(e) by adding new
categories to subparagraph (e) Town Board special permit approval and optional advisory
referral to the Planning Board: INDOOR RECREATION - PARTICIPANT; INDOOR
RECREATION - SPECTATOR; OUTDOOR RECREATION ~ PARTICIPANT;
OUTDOOR RECREATION - SPECTATOR and to renumber accordingly to the Code of
the Town of Clay.
November 7th, 2011 called public hearing for proposed local law for December 5th, 2011 at 7:35 P.M.,
Notice of public hearing published in the Post Standard on November 25th, 2011.
Public hearing held and completed on December 19th, 2011.
Local Law was approved at the December 19th, 2011 meeting.
Local Law sent l o Dept. of State on December 21st, 2011.

§ 230-16 B. CLAY CODE § 230-16 C.
The purpose of this local law is to allow outdoor recreation (such as volley ball courts, ball fields,
golf courses, etc.) and indoor recreation (such as athletic clubs) Outdoor Recreation - Participant
and Outdoor Recreation - Spectator in retail zoning districts with a Special Permit. At this time
these are only allowed in the REC-1 Recreation District in the code of the Town of Clay.
