POSITION TO THE TOWN COURT OF THE TOWN OF CLAY
IT IS ENACTED by the Town Board of the Town of Clay, County of Onondaga as follows:
SECTION 1. TO CREATE A DEPUTY CLERK POSITION TO
THE TOWN COURT OF THE TOWN OF CLAY.
By creating a Deputy Clerk position to the Town Court of the Town of Clay pursuant to
Civil Service Law Section 41. Said Local Law is to read as follows:
The Town Board called public hearing on August 21, 2006 for September 6,2006.
Town Board held and completed public hearing on September 6,2006.

TO THE TOWN COURT OF THE TOWN OF C L A Y
BE IT ORDAINED AND ENACTED by the Town Board of the Town of Clay, Onondaga County,
New York, as follows:
SECTION 1.
Civil Service Law Section 41 (1)(d) states that one clerk and one deputy clerk if authorized
by law, of each court shall be in the Exempt Class of the Civil Service Law.
SECTION 2,
The Town of Clay by this Local Law, authorizes the creation of the position of Deputy
Clerk to the Town Court, which position shall be in the Exempt Class ofthe Civil Service Law.
SECTION 3. This Local Law shall take effect immediately upon filing in the office of the
Secretary of State.
The purpose of this Local Law is to authorize the creation of the position of Deputy Clerk
to the Town Court, which position shall be in the Exempt Class ofthe Civil Service Law.
5. (City local law concerning Charter revision proposed by petition.)
I hereby certify that the local law annexed hereto, designated as local law No. of 20 of
the City of having been submitted to referendum pursuant to the provisions of section (36)(37)
of the Municipal Home Rule Law, and having received the affirmative vote of a majority of the qualified electors of such city
voting thereon at the (special)(general) election held on 20 , became operative.
6. (County local law concerning adoption of Charter.)
I hereby certify that the local law annexed hereto, designated as local law No. of 20 of the County of State of New York, having been submitted to the electors at the General Election of November 20 , pursuant to subdivisions 5 and 7 of section 33 of the Municipal Home Rule Law, and having received the affirmative vote of a majority ofthe qualified electors of the cities of said county as a unit and a majority of the qualified electors of the towns of said county considered as a unit voting at said general election, became operative.
