At the SPECIAL MEETING of the Town Board, Town of Clay, Onondaga County, held at the Town Hall, Clay, New York on the 16th of August, 2018 at 4:30 P.M., there were:

The meeting was called to order by Deputy Supervisor Bick at 4:32 P.M. All present joined in the Pledge of Allegiance.
Special Meeting:
Executive Session for the purpose of Employment Contract:
Councilor Meaker made a motion to enter into Executive Session. Motion was
seconded by Councilor Hall. Motion carried.
The Special Meeting was adjourned at 4:37 P.M. upon motion by Councilor Young and seconded by Councilor Pleskach.
Ayes – 7 and Noes – 0. Motion carried.
The meeting reconvened at 5:28 P.M. upon a motion made by Deputy Supervisor
Bick and seconded by Councilor Hess.
Deputy Supervisor Bick moved the adoption of a resolution authorizing the hiring of
Hancock and Estabrook, LLP to conduct legal consultation services related to employee issues. This resolution also authorizes the Supervisor and/or the Deputy Supervisor of the Town of Clay to execute any and all documents to complete this action. Motion was seconded by Councilor Hess.

Ayes – 6 and Noes – 0 and 1 – Abstaining. Motion carried. (Supervisor Ulatowski
recused himself).
This Special Meeting was adjourned at 5:31 P.M. upon a motion made by Deputy
Supervisor Bick and seconded by Councilor Hess.
